Hello Fellow Thrifters and Friends,
Well lets just say I went a little Pyrex crazy this past couple of weeks! There was so much great Pyrex that it was so hard not to bring it all home. My sweet Mr Joyful Thrifter bought me some beautiful new pieces, and like always has such a great attitude about buying me treasures.
Here are the beautiful new Pyrex additions...
From Left to Right
Measuring cup - $1.99 - Mr Joyful Thrifter really wanted this one because the bottom of the Pyrex said that its purpose was for use around the house and photographic use only. He got a real kick out of that.
Red Fridgies - $6.99/ each - Found these at goodwill, and it was so exciting to finally find a fridgie at Good will.
Blue fridgie - $4.99 - After I found the red fridgies I found the blue one! No lid but in great shape and a beautiful blue color.
Yellow Hostess bowl - $6.00 - I found this dish at an awesome estate sale. We got to go through the entire house.
Green custard bowls - $2.99/ each - Birthday present from my best friend.
Yellow Fridgie - $7.99 - After I found the blue Fridgie at goodwill my husband found the yellow one. We were so excited to find all of this Pyrex in one spot.
Tea Cups - $0.99/each - Then we found the mugs at the same Good will Trip.
Mushroom Pyrex - $3.99 and $4.99 - Presents when I got home from work just sitting on the kitchen table waiting for me. He is the best husband.
Pyrex Plates - 3 for $2.99 - Found at Good will.
Here are some close ups...
In the theme of Pyrex my sweet mom bought me this wonderful Pyrex gift for my Birthday.
I was so excited to received this Pyrex inspired gift. We love to collect together, so it makes this gift so special to me. The cook book is full of great recipes and has a wonderful vintage look! I Love it!
I was able to find some treasures that were not Pyrex...
Decorating books for $0.50/each. The Shabby Chic book is full of awesome ideas and beautiful pictures. I just can't get enough of decorating books. They are so fun to look through.
The entire unabridged wicked book on Audio. ONLY $2.00. On the book of the audio book it says that it was orignally $65.00. If we go on a road trip this summer I thought it would be so much fun to go through the whole book.
The sweet tea pot matches a yellow one that we bought awhile back, and we found it at the goodwill for $2.99.
It was a very fun thrfting week, and I love my new treasures.
Hope you had a wonderful thrifty week. Please feel free to link up, and share your new treasures!
Smiles,
The Joyful Thrifter

I love that Pyrex measuring cup! I guess the note is made to prevent people from using it in laboratories?
ReplyDeleteI used to have that measuring jug, unfortunately it met its end on my slate kitchen floor! Love the little fridge dishes. The Rachel Ashwell book is great, someone sent it to me as a blog prize.
ReplyDeleteI love to admire your growing Pyrex collection. I'm sure it makes you happy just looking at them everyday.

Now I must read more of your blog posts!
WOW WOW WOW! I'm so glad I clicked on your link from Her Library Adventures. I JUST got into vintage Pyrex, and that's the post I linked to on your blog. I spent a lot of time on Ebay today looking at more vintage Pyrex and ended up ordering two pink cake pans. Cannot wait.
ReplyDeleteIf this is only the newest part of your collection, I'm absolutely dying to see the rest! :)
What great finds! Who can resist a nice piece of vintage Pyrex- not me!
