I am trying to find more hair styles to put off washing my hair. It takes a ton of work to blow dry my hair and make it how I like it, so the longer I can put it off the better. I love all of the hair ideas on Pinterest for up do's and braids. What I have been doing is washing my hair one day, the next day I will curl it, and then the following day I will use the day old curls to do something up or add something to make those curls work.
These are second day curls and all I did was put a vintage scarf in my hair and then pull some of it out of my eyes. Very simple, but looks so cute and looks like I put a lot of effort into making my hair styled.
I did not tie it under my hair so you could see the polka dots from the back. I think this is such a fun look.
What will you do with your day old curls?
What do you wash your hair with? I have learned that store bought shampoo is designed to force you to wash more often. I wash my hair with Dr. Bronner's castile soap. Some people I know swear by baking soda used as shampoo.
