Treasure Hunt Finds (Again)

Hello Fellow Thrifters and Friends,

Mr Joyful Thrifter and I found an ad on craigslist for a recliner, and since we have been wanting one we went to take a look. The recliner was not what we wanted, but my sweet Mr Joyful thrifter took me to the thrift stores in Lancaster and I came away with some wonderful treasures. I couldn't wait to share them, so I thought I would do an additional post today.

I love these sitched owls! They are just so cute. I paid $1.99 for each of them. SO CUTE!!!

Another owl Trivet! This one is smaller and oh so precious. I paid $1.50.

My other owl trivet now has a friend.

Both of these bowls are in perfect shiny condition and each cost $3.57 from the Salvation Army.

I love this bowl with the pretty flowers. I have the larger version of this bowl, so I was so jazzed to find the smaller version for $3.57.

Pyrex plate for $1.57

Speaking of wonderful Pyrex I took pictures of my moms collection now that she has it displayed.

She has so many lovely pieces, and all of them were purchased at thrifty prices.

Have a lovely day!

Smiles,
The Joyful Thrifter

  3. I love the embroidered owls. So sweet. Someone spent hours, even days, stitching those. I'm sure she would be so pleased to know the joy they are now bringing you. Thank you for posting the pictures of my Pyrex. And a BIG thank you for sparking my joy of collecting.

  16. Your mom has a fortune in that Pyrex. It is making a gig comeback and very pricey in the antique malls.
