It feels like ages since I have posted a treasure hunt finds post. It was so much fun going to the garage sales this morning and finding some awesome treasures!!
When I found this pink phone I actually left it at the thrift store, and as I was driving home I regretted not buying it. I also proceeded to complain to Mr Joyful thrifter about how sad I was for not buying the pink princess phone. To help with my sadness I went online and was browsing on mod cloth only to discover this. I knew it was the wrong decision to not get that pink phone! I went to goodwill the next day but it was gone, and I called my husband to tell him how sad I was that the phone was gone. When I met up with my sweet Mr Joyful thrifter for dinner he pulled out a bag with goodwill on it and I could see a pink beauty through the plastic! He went back and bought the phone for me a few hours before I went to go and look for it. HE IS SUCH A SWEETIE!!!
Following the pink phone came this awesome pink christmas tree at a garage sale. Mr Joyful thrifter was NOT a fan of this pink tree, but I really liked it. I was about to head out when the lady says to me you can have it for FREE if you want it. I of course was not going to pass up a pink tree for FREE! She was so thankful that she did not have to re pack it.
I just love these green owls! I paid $3.00 for the set. I can't wait to display them.
Some more fun Christmas decorations. I love this christmas scene made out of paper. It is so cute and so vintage. I paid $0.99 for the set.
How sweet are these little houses.
I have not found Pyrex for awhile, so I jumped with joy to find this fridgie! I paid $1.00 for it at the same sale that I got the FREE pink christmas tree.
This was a find that has been our want list for awhile, but honestly I did not know if we would ever find it. Mr Joyful thrifter asked the price on this spool and a simple table I can use as a craft table. The lady holding the sale was so excited to sell them both and she asked if $10.00 for the pair would be ok. SOLD! We were so jazzed to pay $5.00 for this awesome spool.
What a wonderful thrifty week! I can't wait to finish unpacking my apartment so my new treasures can be on display. I will post photos this week of our new apartment!
Hope you all had a wonderfully thrifty week!
Smiles,
The Joyful Thrifter

Anything pink is wonderful but I think the tree is my favorite. You picked up some wonderful treasures.❤
ReplyDeleteLove everything! I just scored a set of the Amish Pyrex yesterday too.
ReplyDeleteOMG! That spool brought back some memories. We had some when I was little. Me and my sister would take them to the front yard and attempt to walk on them down the side walk like we were circus bears. Who knows where my mom was, and how we got away with doing that.
What great thrifty finds you have! I wanted a princess phone so badly when I was a teenager. I also like the pink tree - and I'm not a true pink fan.
