I know it is getting rather close to Christmas and the thought of making a Christmas present may sound very stressful, but I promise this is an easy and rather inexpensive idea.
Materials Needed for this project:
-candle
-burlap
-ribbon
Tools Needed:
-Glue Gun
I stopeed dead in my tracks when I spotted this burlap at Joann's. I had never seen printed burlap before, and knew it would be perfect for this project.
- cut the burlap so it can go around the entire candle. Make sure you leave enough to fold over for a clean edge.
-Fold before hot gluing to the candle
-Glue the burlap to the candle
- choose a pretty ribbon and glue around its middle or at the top or wherever suits your fancy
I had fun with this simple little project, and I made two different styles.
You could easily make these any time of the year with different colors.
Enjoy this lovely week before Christmas!
Smiles,
Pin It Now!
Those are darling! I have a bare pillar just calling out for something cute like that. Thanks for the idea. :) Thanks for visiting my blog last week, too. So nice to hear from someone else out there. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and so simple. They look like a boutique-bought candle!
