Fresh Home Grown Veggies

Hello Fellow Thrifters and Friends,
  My dear friend has an amazing garden in her back yard, and when I was over this week she let me take home all the fresh veggies that were ripe. I was so excited because first I got to pick them myself and second there is nothing better then fresh picked veggies from a garden. YUM! I had a blast, and just enjoyed getting tomatoes, cucumbers, and all sorts of fresh yummies. I told her this was just as good as Christmas. She was glad someone could enjoy them because she was going out of town and they would not get eaten. Win win for both of us.

I got to pick all of this goodness! and I can't wait to finish eating it all.

The baby tomatoes have been by far my favorite to eat. I just love popping them in my mouth and getting that amazing burst of flavor. 

Fresh basil is one of the best smells. I have had this in my fridge for about two days and my fridge smells heavenly of basil. I put in my pasta the other day just because I couldn't stand wasting it. 

And look at this beauty. This is the first watermelon they had picked, and I can't wait to open it up to enjoy.

I love gardens, and I hope someday I can have one of my own. Do any of you garden?
