WALL-E

Hello Fellow Thrifters and Friends,

This lovely little Pixar movie holds such a special spot in my thrifty little heart because it was the first movie Mr Joyful Thrifter and I saw when we started dating. So of course when I see a WALL-E treasure at a thrift store I have to pick it up.

This cute children's book was only $1.00

Here is my little collection of Wall-E treasures.

The little Wall-E candle was given to me by Mr Joyful Thrifter on our first Christmas together. I love that a silly children's movie has such wonderfully sweet memories of our time together when were only Boyfriend and Girlfriend.

I hope my blogger friends enjoyed a little sneak into the special parts of my heart.

What was the first movie you saw with your special someone?

Smiles,
The Joyful Thrifter

  2. I don't think Wall-E is a silly kids movie at all. I think it has many great lessons embedded within it. I especially appreciate it as a thrifter because we are all like Wall-E with our own little collections that we love. I must admit that I am a sucker for the new wave of animated movies so I am slightly biased.

But to answer your question, the boy and I's "first date" movie is Stigmata. Not very romantic. :(

  3. I have not seen any WALL-E collectibles ever. Love that movie and watch it over and over.

We were not movie date people, although I'm sure we've seen something. We "dated" at auto racetracks. We were both support workers.
So we have a collection of T-shirts.

  4. Ah, lovely. We only ever see kids movies these days, although mr t had the car serviced on friday and missed the courtesy bus to work. He actually saw an adult movie without me, the first time in around 5 years!

Our first together movie was 'you've got mail', in a small coastal town with kids sitting behind us kicking the back of our seats and a noisy projector.....it was lovely though.
