I am so thankful for my week off of fun. I spent time with friends and worked on some projects. It was a great week, but I missed all of you and reading your sweet comments. I went to a whole bunch of thrift stores this week, but honestly I only found a few little things. I am still keeping up with decorating my house with purpose, and with that comes buying things with purpose. I am trying to ask myself these questions before buying:
Do you know where it will go in the house?
Do you already have something similar?
Is it clean?
Is it in good condition or good enough that I can fix?
These questions have helped very much, and helps stretches my monthly thrifting budget. Here a the little finds that I did bring home with me this week.
This little picture frame caught both Mr Joyful Thrifter's and My eye on the shelf. We both thought it was unique and definitely something that would fit in our home. It was only $0.99, and that was a great price to pay for this cutie.
I was in my best friends wedding this past weekend, and she had a photo booth. It was so much fun to take silly pictures and get to take them home. I thought our pictures from the booth would look so cute in this frame.
I love toy sewing machines, and now I have two of them. Do you remember my Holly Hobby sewing machine I found at an antique store awhile back? It made me think she needed a buddy to hang out with on the shelf. I saw this cutie for $1.99 and since I am working on organizing and decorating my craft room I thought this would be such a cute addition.
I love the cheesy picture on the front, and I would never take it off.
It has a cute little drawer for needles.
Ok just a silly little find, but I have great plans for this little $0.88 hanger.
Have you found any lovely treasures recently? If so please link up pictures to my Facebook page, or leave your blog link so I can enjoy in your fun.
Smiles,
Here are the lovely sites I enjoy linking up with. We get to share more fun that way:
I love the bicycle frame! It looks so cute with your photos in it! I'm being much more careful with my thrifty buys these days also!

Super cool sewing machine! What an awesome find and price!
ReplyDeleteLove the sewing machine! My sister had the Holly Hobby one growing up. Awhile back I was at VVs and they had a large collection of children's sewing machines but they were priced too high for me to consider buying so I snapped some pictures instead. Here's the post on my sister's blog!
