Treasure Hunt Finds

Hello Fellow Thrifters and Friends,

While visiting my in laws I got to go a great Estate Sale. I love saying those magic words "Estate Sales"I have not been to a good Estate sale in some time, but more importantly I have not been to an Estate sale that had reasonable prices in quite some time. It was great fun.

I fell in love with these napkins right away! They are in mint condition. It almost looks like they have never been used. Plus they are a lovely shade of blue and olive green. So pretty. I got all four napkins for $2.00.
I love storing craft supplies in vintage tins. I got both of these for $1.50. Such a great bargin.
I have not bought mugs in quite some time! I am proud of myself, but I just had to bring these cuties home because I just love the flowers and the colors. Plus they were only $0.25/ each.
I love how they stack!
I have rarely found vintage Christmas decorations. These boxes of shiny brites were a lovely surprise! I got all three boxes for $5.00.
I just ove the boxes. When Christmas comes around I won't be using these ornaments on my tree because they look to great in the boxes.
Amazingly enough I don't own a pencil sharpener, so I was thrilled to find this older style one for $2.99. It works great too.
I don't have any Pyrex in this pattern, so I was pleased to find this lid. Plus it was 50% off so I only paid $1.50 for this cutie.
EEEPPP I just think these wedding place cards are just to cute. I have no idea what I am going to do with them, but I just had to bring them home.
I actually paid retail for these place cards. I was smiling to myself when I saw the price on the original packaging was the same I was paying.
Large Sewing hoop, which will be perfect for...something. I got it for $1.99.
Have you found any lovely treasures recently? If so please link up pictures to my Facebook page, or leave your blog link so I can enjoy in your fun.

  5. I too enjoy going to Estate Sales...I also host Estate Sales (The Tattered Suitcase Estate Sales) for those families that do not want to do it themselves...it can be so emotional & LOTS of work...but to find treasures and carry on the love of items that the previous owner also cherished makes me smile! Loved your post. My castle doors are always open over at the "royal blog" for browsing...hope to see you there. Tiffany

  10. You found some great stuff!! I love the ornaments the best though. I decorate with a lot of the boxes myself during the holidays. They look so cute stacked together on my fireplace.

    Have a wonderful week!

  11. I think those napkins look like Vera as well. You found totally great stuff! I don't get to ES much around here because I have a 3-y-o who finds it difficult to behave at them, LOL. Plus I live in a newer part of town and the best ES in the older parts of town are a 45 minute drive or more--with gas as high as it is, sometimes I just can't justify that drive! I adore the little wedding placecards--I'm a sucker for honeycomb tissue anything! I have those same yellow tins--the colors are so happy! And I love the colors on your Japanese stacking mugs, and it goes without saying that the vintage ornaments are FAB!!
